And another thing, they were busting at this place that had a bunch of ghosts, this apartment building with ghosts, he finds out by another guy that this cult built the apartments in such a way that it's like a beacon to this god called Gozer who's going to end the world and then she SHOWS UP and--well I don't wanna give away the ending...

[ He trips up for a second because Larry is right. This is...forever, isn't it? ]

Uh...uh, the--Gozer is like, chose the form of your destructor! And the Ghostbusters are like ah shit what's something we can beat and one guy thinks of this marshmallow mascot--he's like the Pillsbury Dougboy. And then this giant marshmallow man the size of Godzilla appears in the city and starts wrecking shit.

[ Larry laughs. ]

Be careful what you wish for, as they say.

Hah, yeah...anyway, they end up beating him in the end and covering the city in marshmallow slime.

So win-lose.

[ It sounds like a fun romp, it's too bad Larry will never have the pleasure. ]

I watched a movie right before... Right before I came. The second Star Wars. It was pretty good.

Aw yeah, Star Wars! They make more!

I would hope so, with the bomb they dropped in it. 'Luke, I am your father.' Nuts.

Hah, I know, right? Get this--they make the third one and then they start making prequels.

Prequels... So like they go back and tell the backstory?

[ Maurice nods enthusiastically. ]

Yeah, and they do all this stuff with, uh, computer graphics. They even went back and added some effects to the old movies to make 'em look like they go together more. My coworker doesn't like the new movies, but I think they're cool.

Computer graphics? To make it more realistic?

[ That's blowing his mind. The computer graphics he knows are pretty basic and blocky in appearance. ]

[The vampire's face lights up again and he shifts a little in his seat, excited.]

Oh, man, you don't know about Jurassic Park! Okay, okay, so computer stuff has got so good that it looks real! You can put anything in a movie now!

[ He can kind of guess by the title, but... ]

It's about these people who bring dinosaurs back from extinction and put 'em in this big zoo, but they all get loose and start eating people. Jeff Goldblum is there.

Oh yeah, the guy from Invasion of the Body Snatchers, right? That ought to have been interesting. Good actor.

How the hell could you bring dinosaurs back, time travel?

Well, they're not really dinosaurs. They've just got dinosaur DNA that they got from a fossil. They're mixed with frogs and a bunch of other stuff.

[ Larry doesn't know enough about DNA to even know if that's a plausible scenario for a movie, but it must have at least been entertaining. ]

If you could bring all the tapes of one single show you saw recently with you here, which one would it be?

Aw man, that's a hard one. Hmm...

[ He looks at the bar top and thinks about every TV show he's ever seen. ]

Maybe Elvira's Movie Macabre...it's not recent, but it was running on a channel I was watching before I had to sell my TV.
